Job Summary

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily financial activities of both the firm and its clients. This position requires strong leadership skills and deep knowledge of accounting standards. You will manage a team of accountants, ensure financial reports are accurate, and maintain compliance with UAE tax laws and accounting principles. Additionally, you will work closely with clients to ensure their financial needs are met, while also playing a role in the firm's strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, the Accounting Manager will:

• Lead the Accounting Team: Supervise and mentor junior accountants, ensuring all financial tasks are completed on time and accurately.
• Manage Financial Operations: Oversee all accounting functions, including invoicing, billing, payroll, and financial audits.
• Prepare Financial Reports: Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports for the firm and its clients.
• Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing financial advice and ensuring their accounting needs are met.
• Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that all accounting practices adhere to UAE laws, tax regulations, and international financial reporting standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the financial planning and budgeting process for the firm and assist clients in strategic financial decisions.
• Internal Controls: Develop and implement strong internal controls to safeguard the firm’s and clients' financial data.
• Tax Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Accounting Manager role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A CA (Chartered Accountant) or a similar qualification is mandatory.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role within a CA firm.
  • UAE experience is essential (2-3 years required).
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: AED 10,000 to AED 12,000 per month.
