IT Officer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary: AED 10,000 per month
Contract: 1 year, with the possibility of extension
Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced IT Officer to join a dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, applications, and support services. Fluency in Arabic and current residence in the UAE are preferred.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in IT roles, preferably in infrastructure and application support.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
- Technical Expertise:
- Infrastructure & Technical Background: Experience with Cisco Meraki network, MSFT Azure Cloud, and Enterprise IT including desktops, laptops, and telephony.
- Application Knowledge: Familiarity with hospitality or education applications such as Moodle, Academia SIS, Oracle PMS, Salesforce CRM, etc., is advantageous.
- Location: Must be currently based in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Development: Develop, maintain, and improve the local infrastructure, including network, desktops/laptops, and peripherals.
- Application Management: Oversee project delivery, maintain applications, and provide support.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve complex issues related to Enterprise IT, including desktops, applications, network, cloud, and security.
- User Support: Manage local user accounts, (e)SIM subscriptions, access control, audio-video setups, and more.
- Service Management: Follow best practices in place, manage service requests, and track resolutions through the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Hardware Management: Install, upgrade, and maintain PC hardware/software; track inventory; manage repairs and purchase orders.
- Documentation: Create and maintain knowledge base documentation.
