Key Responsibilities
As a Road Safety Coordinator, your role will include:
- Developing and implementing road safety plans and policies.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
- Identifying potential road hazards and proposing preventive measures.
- Providing safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigating road incidents and accidents to determine causes and recommend improvements.
- Preparing reports and documentation related to road safety.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Road Safety or Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- 3-5 years of experience in road safety or a similar role.
- Knowledge of UAE road safety regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
