Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct alert reviews, investigations, due diligence, and remediations as necessary.
• Monitor transactions for suspicious activities and ensure compliance with AML regulations.
• Maintain adherence to regional financial laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address issues and ensure compliance with policies.
• Prepare and submit suspicious activity reports (SARs) in line with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records related to transaction monitoring activities.
• Stay informed about industry trends, AML typologies, and regulatory changes impacting transaction monitoring.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years of transaction monitoring experience within a financial institution.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficient understanding of transaction monitoring scenarios and AML typologies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Thorough knowledge of regional banking laws and AML regulations.
• Ability to conduct investigations and prepare suspicious activity reports.
