Professional / Technical Qualifications / Diplomas:

• Education Level Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network/Cyber Security, or related Information Technology field.
• Certifications:
  • Platform-specific (e.g., SIEM/Networking/Operating System) certifications.
  • Security certifications (e.g., SANS, ISC2, CEH, CISSP, CISM, CISO).

Experience:

• Required Experience: 7 - 10 years in Information Security or a related field.

Skills Required:

• Technical Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of information security and technology infrastructure.
  • Experience in NESA (National Electronic Security Authority) requirements implementation.
  • Experience in developing information security policies in line with NESA requirements.
• Attention to Detail:
  • Pays careful attention to the Bank’s computer systems and monitors for minor changes indicative of a potential compromise.
• Network Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of network troubleshooting, firewall administration, and network protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Development:
  • Assist in developing the information security strategy and roadmap for all security technology domains.
• Research and Recommendations:
  • Research security standards, security systems, and authentication protocols, and make recommendations to IS management.
• Architectural Review:
  • Review architectural designs and make recommendations for approval by IS management.
• Expert Guidance:
  • I serve as an expert in information security management, developing, implementing, and maintaining an information security infrastructure.
• Trend Monitoring:
  • Monitor information security trends internal and external to the Bank and keep IS management informed about related issues and activities.
• Breach Monitoring and Investigation:
  • Monitor the Bank’s networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.
• Reporting:
  • Prepare reports documenting security breaches and the extent of the damage caused, supporting IS management in responding to security incidents.
• Assessments and Testing:
  • Conducted vulnerability assessments and supported contracted third-party penetration testing.
