Job Position: IT Support Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an IT Support Engineer with extensive troubleshooting experience to join our dynamic IT team at Vexus Group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support, resolving issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist users with operating system problems, application errors, and network connectivity issues.
System Maintenance:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, and patch management.
- Monitor system performance and optimize for efficient operation.
- Maintain and update documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
Network Support:
- Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and ensure network security compliance.
- Support VPN and remote access solutions for offsite employees.
User Training and Support:
- Provide training and guidance on IT best practices and security protocols.
- Develop and update user manuals and technical documentation.
- Conduct IT orientation sessions for new employees.
Asset Management:
- Maintain IT asset inventory and manage hardware/software lifecycle.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and warranty services.
Project Participation:
- Assist in IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement new technologies and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows and macOS environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Experience in network troubleshooting and basic configuration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
