Job Description: We are seeking an IT Support Engineer with extensive troubleshooting experience to join our dynamic IT team at Vexus Group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support, resolving issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist users with operating system problems, application errors, and network connectivity issues.

System Maintenance:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, and patch management.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize for efficient operation.
  • Maintain and update documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.

Network Support:

  • Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and ensure network security compliance.
  • Support VPN and remote access solutions for offsite employees.

User Training and Support:

  • Provide training and guidance on IT best practices and security protocols.
  • Develop and update user manuals and technical documentation.
  • Conduct IT orientation sessions for new employees.

Asset Management:

  • Maintain IT asset inventory and manage hardware/software lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement and warranty services.

Project Participation:

  • Assist in IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to implement new technologies and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Experience in network troubleshooting and basic configuration.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • UAE driving license is mandatory.
