Work together with a team of designers (under the direction of the marketing manager and content manager) on varied creative projects, from inception to completion, ensuring that you create eye-catching, engaging and on-trend multi-media artwork for Spinneys’ print (magazine and various other print projects), video, social media, email, web, packaging, in-store and marketing special project initiatives.
Attend studio and location photo and video shoots, working with photographers, videographers and food stylists.
Assist with creating dynamic video edits (working with in-house and freelance video editors) to ensure all video content is captivating and meets campaign objectives.
Manage the image library, ensuring an ordered system is always maintained.
Create brand consistency, ensuring that company-wide materials support and strengthen the brand and market leadership.
Fluent in English.
Design experience as a mid-weight designer in a publishing/media house or an advertising agency.
Experience designing multi-media content for a retail brand is essential.
A portfolio that demonstrates fluency in the visual language of magazine publishing, packaging design, retail design, web design, styling, photoshoot direction, video shoot art direction and artwork creation for social media.
Strong typographic skills.
A well-rounded understanding of all social platforms.
An understanding of the supermarket retail industry.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop. Sound knowledge of Lightroom, After Effects and Premier pro is a plus.
Strong project management, communication and organization skills.
Ability to multi-task, work efficiently under pressure and stay calm.
Ability to work alone and extremely well in a team.
